2012-2023 $2 Collection 68 UNCIRCULATED Coins - Including the Red Poppy, Coronation, Remembrance, Tooth Fairy, Honey Bee and Firefighters Coins.

This collection takes one of the best on eBay, and then adds two C mintmarked coins to it. This collection is for those buyers who want a full collection, as well as the anniversary 2022 C Mint Marked Red Poppy $2 coin and the 2023  C Mint Marked 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War $2 Coin. Both of these were released by the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) as coins on card.

No other seller offers you coins in their original folders or Mint Sets. The coloured $2 coin market is still relatively young, with the first coloured $2 coin appearing in 2012. It is only reasonable therefore, to expect the packaging and presentation of these coins to be exactly the same as on the day of release. This collection is all about collecting the BEST examples of these $2 coins. The 68 coins are all in pristine, as new, uncirculated condition and wherever possible in their original RAM packaging.

There are two Red Poppies in this collection - the 2012 Red Poppy and the 2022 C Mint Marked Red Poppy. Rather than placing the 2012 Red Poppy in the folder I have stored this in a Lighthouse 2x2. This way you can admire both sides, and show it off to friends without the risk of fingerprint damage.

(Please note – there are a few enterprising individuals who are producing their own packaging, some with nice quality graphics. However, this does NOT increase the value of your coins. In fact, the reverse may be true.)

There is NO 2017 Mars Coin in this collection. You can't expect a coin worth roughly $5000 to be lurking in a 68-coin collection worth $2920.

In addition to authenticity and improved re-sell ability, the other reason for wishing to have your coins in their RAM folders is that you get ALL the coins for that release. For instance, the 2017 Possum Magic folder contains the three coloured $2 coins as well as four beautifully designed $1 coins. These too are collector’s items.

There are 11 folders and two RAM Baby Sets included with this collection: -

    1.       2016 Rio Olympic Games

    2.      2016 Rio Paralympic Games

    3.      2017 Possum Magic

    4.      2018 Brisbane Commonwealth Games

    5.      2019 Mr Squiggle coin folder

    11.      2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games     plus

   12.      2022 RAM Baby Set of Coins

   13.      2023 RAM Baby Set of Coins.

The other Coins on Cards are the four Tooth Fairy coins which were minted in 2020 to 2023, and the two C Mint Marked coins from 2022 and 2023 discussed above.

The remainder of the coins have been lovingly taken from RAM collector rolls. NO BAGS are used whatsoever. Even the small sachet bags of 5 coins inherently have a jostling of coins which increases surface scratching.

If you would like these coins presented to you in quality perspex holders, rather than being placed directly in the collection folder, please do ask me. You will, of course, still receive the actual folder. There is no additional cost associated with this option.

The 2017 Mars coin, which was part of The Planets folder, were limited to a mintage of 10 000. These do come up for auction on eBay occasionally, with the last one selling for around $7200 for a folder and individual Mars coin for over $5000.  NO $2 coin collection on eBay has a Mars coin as part of its offering. THERE IS NO 2017 MARS COIN IN THIS COLLECTION.

I am more than happy to answer any queries that you may have. I am also able to tailor a collection to your specific needs e.g if you have a partial collection and just wish to fill in the gaps.

Your collection will be sent with Australia Post in a large Parcel Post Satchel with tracking. This large collection will be carefully packed into a large gift box and sent by Registered Post which will require a signature upon delivery.
