Indications :

Nifuroxazide is a medicinal product intended for adults and children over 6 years of age. Its active substance is nifuroxad with antibacterial effect used in acute and chronic bacterial diarrhea.

Ingredients : 

The active substance is nifuroxazide (Nifuroxazidum).
1 film-coated tablet contains 100 mg of nifuroxazide.
Excipients: colloidal anhydrous silica, potato starch, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 20,000, quinoline yellow (E 104).

 Dosage : 

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose for adults, adolescents and children over 7 years of age is 2 film-coated tablets 4 times a day, every 6 hours.
Do not stop treatment before 3 days have passed, even if you feel better.
Nifuroxazide Gedeon Richter is intended for oral use, the tablets should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.

Action
Nifuroxazide Gedeon Richter shows antibacterial activity in the intestinal lumen against selected species of bacteria. It does not destroy the natural bacterial flora of the digestive tract and does not cause resistant strains. The drug is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted from the body unchanged.
