Amazing vintage find! Classic black 100% virgin wool cape coat from Young Pendleton, a line from Pendleton geared toward a younger customer. (Fun fact: A young Cheryl Tiegs was a model in their print ads.). A classic coat in a classic color! You’ll be able to wear this with just about anything!

This cape features five buttons in front, just like a regular coat. However, this swing shaped jacket has two slits in front for you to slip your arms through. The flaps are overlapped enough that they don’t gap should you decide to pull your arms in, more poncho style. There are buttons at each end of the slits, giving it a more polished look.

Nice pointed collar, about 5” long in front.

It is about mid thigh length, depending on your height. Fully lined in black satin like fabric. One slip pocket inside. Dry clean.

Very good condition for its age, with no areas showing excessive wear. I have used the lint brush, but the tightly woven fabric has a tight hold on a few stragglers, lol…will do again before shipping.

Marked a 7-8…but you know vintage sizes are not always comparable to today’s sizes! (I am a size 4, with swimmer’s shoulders and this fits me just right, if I do say so myself.)
