Louise Jordan Miln, 1864 – 1933, was an American novelist who wrote 26 novels and many articles.  Her 1918 novel Mr Wu, would become very popular and be made into a film. This would also led to another 15 novels, mainly romance / Adventure  set in China, several of which would be made into films.
