The set appears to be handmade and finished with each chess piece carved by hand.
The checkers have felt backing.
There are 58 total pieces.
Size varies from 2 - 3 1/2" tall, the chips are 1" x 3/8" thick. The box it came in is 13" x 8" x 4" high.
The box appears to be Asian but it may not be original to to set.
