Fine vintage handcarved wood box, I think maybe was a cigarette box because of the size.
The sides are turned with graceful curved shape and the base of box is 4" x 6".
Because so thick, the interior is 2-1/2" x 4".
Box is 3-1/2" tall.
Lid has nice geometric carving and a rectangular knob in the center.
No marks, not signed.
Very good condition.
