A-4 Skyhawk, fighter/bomber flown by John McCain in Vietnam. This is the fighter that John was shot down in. John is an American Hero! John was shot down while attacking a target in North Vietnam. He was imprisoned for five and a half years. John was given permission to go back home within a few months of his capture because he was the son of a famous American Admiral. The Viet Con were gracious to honor John but John chose to stay in prison. The Viet Con honored him and then John snubbed their so-called Honor so they mistreated him to no end for five and a half years. I only met John one time. I wish I knew him better.
