A friend who knows I’m a philatelist called about a friend of his who is disposing of her deceased father’s collected items. It became my job to dispose of his 55 US mint commemorative sheets that he bought as issued about 75 years ago. She assumed these were worth about $500! Once I corrected her on the real value, I was appointed as the seller, attempting to bring her close to market value.

These are offered at a small fraction of catalog value. Shipping supplies and postage are a killer. The buyers’ best value is in the purchase of multiple sheets, up to all 55. All sheets will be listed at once, so act fast.

The sheet in the image is the one you will receive. Perforation separations along the narrow selvage and curling on older issues are common and may occur. A few have a creased corner in the selvage. This and other issues will be visible in the image or noted in the condition description. These were well cared for and kept in glassine stock books. Please note that my scanner will not scan the entire width. I have shortened the widest part of the selvage so as to not attempt to conceal any damages.

Please check out my other mint sheet listings.  Go to my store and search "stamps". I combine domestic shipping on multiple mint sheet purchases made at the same time at a rate of $2.75 for the first sheet and $0.35 for each additional sheet. International shipping will be by eBay International Delivery service with tracking.

For multiple sheets, please use the shopping cart and request a total before making payment. I’ll send an invoice with the above noted shipping charges.
