This is an antique souvenir book “in remembrance of” the 1894 Midwinter International Exposition held in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. It has 16 pages of detailed illustrations of the fair ans it’s buildings. This famous Japanese Tea Garden and de Young art museum were both constructed for this event. There are also illustrations of other SF landmarks including the Cliff House and Alcatraz when it was a military fort and not yet a prison.
