For sale today is the classic, rare, and out-of-print (oop) Marvel Comics graphic novel/trade paperback (tpb) The Sleeze Brothers Files, by John Carnell and Andy Lanning, published in 1990. It is the first print edition.




I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

This copy is in good condition considering its age, with a solid spine, and great/bright inside pages with minimal natural yellowing over time (photo#14 example). It does have a few cover creases, although the rest of its flaws are lighter, and all primarily affect its externals.


**Photo#3:
-Spine edge: 6 light indents around its middle, a few show on the adjacent front cover as small/light indents/depressions.

**Photo#4: 
-Upper spine corner: Light scuffing.

**Photo#5: 
-Lower spine corner: Some scuffing around it, small peel where it meets the back cover.

**Photo#6: 
-Front cover top edge: ~1" scuff/adjacent cover crease near its middle that shows as a light indent on 2 pages, otherwise light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.
-Outer corner: ~1" indent around corner. Small crease/scuff/bend/cover deterioration at corner itself, goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light indent/bend. 

**Photo#7:
-Front cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing.
-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#8: 
-Back cover top edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.
-Outer corner: Very light ~1/2" crease nearby corner. Small crease/scuff/bend at corner, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/4 as a light bend.

**Photo#9:
-Back cover bottom edge: Some light shelf-scuffing/a few tiny indents spread around it.
-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and ~1/4 as a light bend. 

**Additionally: Front cover's page edge possesses a ~1" adjacent cover crease/depression near its middle (photo#10 w/illumination). ~5 small creases/indents/depressions around its middle (photo#11 w/illumination). Small indent/depression near bottom edge's middle. Back cover has ~4 light/small creases/depressions around its middle as well. ~3/4" crease/depression attaching to a ~1.5" indent adjacent the page edge near its middle (photo#12 w/illumination). A few more light depressions/indents/scratches towards the lower spine corner (photo#13 w/illumination). First inside cover page has a small retailer's price sticker near the top outer corner (might come off; I prefer not to mess with them).

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
