This is a wonderful original Ward's Hawthorne bicycle. I brought this back with me from a trip to Minnesota a few years ago. Has what appears to be the original tires which hold air but have dry-cracking. Headlight but no generator or battery assembly.
It also has a nice Troxel springer seat, front crash guards and a package rack in the back. I've ridden it briefly and it feels fine.
Finish is untouched - has some chips and surface rust on bright surfaces. Small nick on the seat. Missing one handgrip. Dent in chain guard in the center of the Hawthorne decal.
26" wheels. Top rail of the frame is 31" tall at the head.
