1/43 scale Tintin cars series: the Broken down Citroën 2CV.

Hergé entrusted Roger Leloup, the creator of Yoko Tsuno, with cleaning and finishing the sketches of the 2CV crashed by the Thom(p)sons. He succeeded in using his own Belgian 2CV as model. This car differentiates from its French sister in many ways. The interior finish, the large rear window, metal trunk, strong bumpers, and the rear lights integrated into the rear wings. Additional features such as a new dashboard, steering wheel, sun visor and glove compartment were installed. Bonnet, radiator /  grille : After 1954, the design of the radiator grille was slightly modified. The original chrome version of the Citroën logo is no longer encased in a oval.

The radiator grille of the crashed 2CV displays only two chevron stripes. The 1/43 scale model also includes the hole for the starting handle which existed then. The bonnet features ribs on its surface and ventilation apertures in the wings. Rear lights : One important feature of the Belgian 2CV is that the two rear lights are integrated into the rear wings adorned with chrome trims. There was another model with rear lights in a circular shape without any trim at all."

In case you notice any damage to the packaging or package, please document them in writing on the delivery slip and inform us immediately by email so that we can find a solution quickly.  A complaint to the carrier is only possible if the customer has expressed reservations on the delivery note.
