Teak wood. Rare. 1960s version, with metal cap. Fritz Hansen sticker is from somewhere in the 1960s :D, the place where the sticker was is still clearly visible.

Good condition, considering the age. Obvious traces of it's age and use though; has (old age related) cracks in the wood, also in the lower back. However, fractures do not "open" when you move the small part of the spine, or the chair's back, backwards. So, the chair is not fragile like a raw egg, and still very usable. As with all mosquitoes and ant chairs, that live to be 60 years old, a little caution in use is appropriate.

The chair has -due to it's old age- breaklines in the wood, also in the lower back. However, these fractures/break lines do not "open" when you move the spine backwards. So they are not, fragile, and don't make in cracking noises, and the chair is still very usable. As with all (hourglass shaped) Jacobsens' (mosquito and ant) chairs that live to be 60, caution when using it is appropriate :)
