This is an Important and unique piece of Scandinavian History. It is the only known piece of silver executed by Kay Bojesen while working in David Andersen Shops in Norway. It was made between 1913 when Kay received his "Buoy" hallmark to circa 1915 while he was touring Europe working with various Silversmiths. Kay Bojesen apprenticed with Georg Jensen between 1907 and 1910, and Jensen's influence is clearly evident in this wonderful piece. Kay expertise is evident in his extremely fine hammering of this amazing item. It measures 9 1/2 inches tall 7 inches across from spout to handle and 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
