Enjoy the fine craftsmanship of Belleek Fine China of Ireland.  This rare and unique piece is made of exceptional translucent clay, Parian.  The piece has the traditional Belleek 5th mark dating it to 1955 - 1965.   The plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Although this charming plate would probably get used for serving elegant pastry, it is technically a bread serving plate according to the 1928 Belleek catalog offerings. Note that the coral trim and center have a very, very pale yellow lustre trim. It is 9" in diameter.
