A superb large English antique solid sterling silver gilt spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the makers marks being L&S. It has been superbly designed in the form of a Medieval coronation / anointing spoon. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 10 inches (25.5cms) long by 2 inches (5.2cms) wide and weighs 78 grams. A very nice quality piece.
