This
iron rest was designed by architect Michael Graves and his office for the
Michael Graves Home collection ca. 2000 and produced by Target.
it is 10”
wide x 12” deep and 3.50” tall.
Unboxed
it is 2.50 lbs.
It
is made of blue silicone and welded steel coated with a silver-metallic paint.
It is heavy and is better constructed than I
would have expected. It clamps to the end of any standard ironing board and
protects the board cover from the hot iron.
The rest features a silicone-coated, zig-saggy
rod at one end meant as a valet for clothes hangers, while the uncoated rod on
the other end wrangles the iron’s cord.
Excellent pre-owned condition. No dents or oxidation, some shelf
scratches from over 20 years seating in storage. Please zoom and view
all pictures as they are part of the description.
