PEARS TRANSPARENT SOAP, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, EARLY 20TH CENTURY ANTIQUE DOUBLE PAPER LABELED, WOOD BOX SHIPPING CRATE, with HINGED LID & NEARL
INTACT COLOR PRINTED PAPER LABELS
[For sale is this fairly scarce, Pears Transparent Soap (London, England, UK) early 20th century antique, double paper labeled, wood box soap advertising shipping crate, with hinged lid & nearly intact affixed, printed paper labels. Its double paper labels are printed with both orange & black ink on a buff colored paper, affixed to the wooden crate's front sidewall, as well as to the inside of its top hinged, wooden lid. Some dark, as well as light staining has occurred, as a result of exposure to moisture, especially on the right & lower margins of the interior paper label on the box's lid. The front sidewall's paper label has some paper loss along its lower margin, also due to most likely, exposure to moisture, from being stored in a basement or damp, unheated space.  The box hasn't been lacquered & has a dry, matte finish & naturally oxidized, aged wood color. It enjoys all wood construction, a wood plank floor & nailed corners. A wonderful English soap box. Terrific for display above your kitchen cabinets. What are you putting your 'stuff' in?]
