Up for sale is a nice example of a classic Minolta Normal Prime lens, the MD 50mm f/1.7.

Like all Minolta lenses of its era, this lovely lens exudes quality and produces lovely sharp images full of character. It is one of the last lenses in this configuration produced by Minolta for manual focus SLRs and thus features the exceptional-quality late MD-era multicoating.

Lens is in excellent vintage condition with very little exterior wear, perfect mechanics, and glass free of scratches/haze/fungus.

This lens features the Minolta MD mount which can be used natively on Minolta MD mount film SLRs. It also can easily be adapted for manual use on most popular DSLR, and mirrorless formats with an inexpensive adapter ring (sold separately, see chart below for digital compatibility).

If you have any questions about whether this lens is adaptable to your camera system, please contact me before purchase.
