Nicely detailed and designed to be compatible in scale with OO gauge model railways, it would be a fine addition to any rail layout depicting the era from 1933 when the Mechanical Horse was first produced, through to the post war period when it was superseded by the Scarab. This variant in the Red livery of Royal Mail bears the crest of King George VI placing it as pre 1952. 

This limited edition model dates from 2006 and has remained in storage since then. It is in new mint condition and remains in its original packaging along with its limited edition certificate in the form of a rail ticket.
