Extremely limited release, perhaps 12-20 pairs/size were produced if even that, originally sold only via raffle exclusively from UK.

New Balance continues to tap its A-list of collaborators to create works of art. From JJJJound to Joe Freshgoods and Aimé Leon Dore, the New Balance arsenal is second to none.

New Balance is teaming up with END. for two interpretations of the XC-72, which released last year and combined NB heritage with a modern look. The upcoming END. x New Balance XC-72 “Art of Nothing” collection includes a natural look as New Balance’s premium suede and breathable mesh details. Accompanying the “Art of Nothing” collection is an apparel range that includes shirts, hoodies, and more draped in the “Angora,” “Marblehead,” and “Gum,” hues seen on the footwear.

Take a look at the pictures yourself the quality is so good that the photo tells everything about how nice the suede is, everything about this pair is just premium quality!

Greatness is seldom made alone, and NB has kept an impressive roster of tinkerers at its side, ranging from Joe Freshgoods to JJJJound, WTAPS, Casablanca, and, of course, END.

These collaborations and special releases have only bolstered the brand's 100+ year reputation for producing high-quality goods, and, despite the frequency of releases we've seen in the past year, this quality hasn't slipped.

For its latest collaboration, NB calls on its European friends at END for a collection that puts the focus on this world-renowned quality.

Taking the XC-72 as its base, the "Art Of Nothing" capsule collection comes decked out in the best fabrications New Balance has to offer. Both pairs up for grabs come wrapped in premium pig suede across the upper, with touches of porous mesh at the base.

Inspired by relaxation and tranquility, this new capsule embodies stylish leisurewear without sacrificing comfort or versatility. Diving into New Balance’s ’70s archives, the duo reinvents the XC-72 to create two modern essentials. One colorway is equipped with an off-white upper constructed of plush suede and breathable mesh with subtle grey accents. The other is constructed with a grey and off-white suede upper on top of a gum bottom for a nice hit of contrast. The simple color tones they use elegantly complement the material and textures that can be seen in the silhouette.

This season END. teams up with New Balance once again, with the duo using elevated materials and understated colourways to create a carefully-considered nine-piece capsule named “Art of Nothing”. A standout creation from the collection are these reinvented XC72’s. END. lends its keen eye to the sportswear brand and the duo put a spin on NB’s favoured and sought-after 1970s archive-inspired design. Subtly altered, the sneaker is crafted entirely from off-white and grey suede – which is joined to a gum rubber sole for added contrast – and, promising optimal comfort, the pair come cushioned with moulded EVA at the midsole, providing support during leisurely days out-of-office.
