Rare Antique French Sterling Silver Dessert or entremet set of 12 knives. Handled and blades are Sterling silver. With a decoration of style Louis XV rococco .

Circa 19 th century.

The style Louis XV (1774-1785) corresponds to the period of the King LouisXVI, King of France and Navarre from 1774 until 1791)

Length of the knives (Longueur): 8,66in (22,00cm) Weight of the set: 22,05oz (767 grams)

They are in good condition with marks or signs of use. 3 knives have blade wear: the roundness of the blade is wornsee picture 2 : I hope you will understand my english which is a bit aproximative.

Marked with French Sterling Silver garantee hallmarks: Minerva 1 head titre mark, 950/1000 First French silver standard (higher then Sterling 925/1000)

The silversmith mark : HS with a rising sun and a star below for SOUFFLOT, Henri registed in Paris in April 12th, 1884 until April 30th, 1910. It was installed à Paris 89 rue turbigo.
