Remington STIHL SL-4A Chainsaw 59cc Vintage muscle Saw Runs Great!.

For sale is a vintage Remington STIHL  SL-4A that starts up and runs great

This was from a huge chainsaw collection of an old chainsaw mechanic.  it appears he has went through all the chainsaws and service them many years ago. As far as Remington's go there's seven of them ,he seemed to like his Remington's. I put fuel in this one and it fired right up

The manual and auto Oiler work great

It seems he did a black paint job on it,  looks pretty cool for what it is

Still has blue Factory sealant inside fuel tank

I would say it is in pretty good condition considering how old these Remington's are. It seems very hard to find these in good condition, I've seen some pretty rough ones out there. This one is ready to play with.

Piston rings look excellent and even the cylinder wall looks pretty damn good. The only thing I noticed was the carbon buildup on the side of the piston but this is common with even old home lights at the time they literally used 30 weight non detergent motor oil for premix, the stuff was nasty but good news is the batch I'm running now which is 25 to 1 Echo Red armor has been definitely been cleaning  the  tops and sides of the Pistons in some of my old Homelite XL 12s. I swear by Echo Red armor truly amazing stuff it will literally clean the inside of the engine like new! It starts to melt the carbon into a liquid form and then Burns It Off.
