This vintage transit token from 1939 is a unique piece of history. Made of bronze and measuring 16.5mm in size, it was circulated by the Illinois Power Company in Peoria. The token features a cut out design and is identified by the token ID TC-237130; Atwood-Coffee IL 690 E. It was used on streetcars, buses, and coaches that operated in the state of Illinois. The token has been well-preserved and is a great addition to any collection of exonumia or coins and paper money.
