This is an adult size S/M so it would be great for kids with a smaller body size.  Side buckles work great.  No rips to the inner padding.  It does have 2 small cracks on the front (see photos).  This does not affect the use of it at all.  Just wanted to be sure and point it out. Sold as pictured and as is.
