A few owner's marks & sticker scar to front end paper. Otherwise, pages are clean & unmarked. Toning to end papers & pastedowns. Pages have mild, even toning, & multiple pages are dog-eared. Insect damage to bottom corners of pp. 133-176 (does not affect text). Binding solid. Covers have bumping to heel of spine; discoloration along rear edge of spine, especially just below titles; light rubbing & wear at corners & spine ends.

Set in southern Virginia near the town of Farmville & the Sailor's Creek Battlefield, Webs of War explores the final days of the Civil War & the changes in a family's life in the days that followed. Scarce.
