For sale is a hardcover copy of Bibliophobia: Remarks on the Present Languid and Depressed State of Literature and the Book Trade in a Letter Addressed to the Author of the Bibliomania by Mercurius Rusticus with notes by Cato Parvus. Both Rusticus and Parvus were pseudonyms used by Thomas Frognall Dibdin. Limited Edition of 100 copies printed on large paper. Published in 1832 by Henry Bohn, London. Binding is holding sound and pages are generally unmarked with the exception of occasional age spotting and toning throughout. Errata slip inlaid on page 17. Hardcover boards show shelf wear and scuffing with minor moisture staining spots. Title card affixed to front cover is scuffed. Includes a catalog flyer from the publisher.
