Absolutely gorgeous and elaborate stone carving that incorporates a vase in the giant lotus blossom. The statue features cherry blossoms and birds. The statue is attached by screws to a dark stone base which looks either dark green or black depending on the light. The statue/vase has bright light greens and gray colors, jade? Base may be soap stone but not sure. In almost perfect condition except for a small chip on the back petal of the lotus flower, it is too hard to capture with the camera because of the pattern of the stone - the way I noticed it was that the tip of the petal is more rounded than the others.
