Fender Custom Shop [USED] 2021 Spring Event Limited Edition Re-Order 1957 Stratocaster (Fadad Sherwood Green Metallic) [SN.CZ566897]

Limited specifications that could be ordered at the dealer event held in spring 2021! Used items in bright Sherwood Green Metallic are now in stock!

Adopts an offset alder body that does not have the adhesive surface in the center position, carefully selected for Fender Custom Shop products by wood selection experts. The pickguard is a 1-ply parchment guard with an 8-point stopper, and due to the thin material used at the time, there is some distortion and lifting due to aging/deterioration from the time of completion. Like the body, the neck material is made of Liftson (straight grain) 1-piece maple. The fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and the frets are medium-sized narrow-tall. The body and neck finish is all lacquer finish like vintage. The body has been weather-checked irregularly, and there are large areas of damage where the paint has peeled off. The back of the neck is stripped from 2F to 10F, and the wood texture provides a smooth playing feel. The finish is a candy-colored finish with discolored clear coat. The neck grip has a smooth "57 Soft V" shape finish. The smooth and slim V-shape makes the grip so easy to hold that it feels like a C-shape.

The hardware is a synchronized tremolo that uses a PAT.PEND. engraved saddle, and the machine head is equipped with vintage-type Kluson pegs.
The custom shop's live sound, which is superior to any other Fender model with its bolt-on structure and clear live sound, has a different level of atmosphere and sound thickness when output from the amplifier. What's more, the resonance achieved by the relic finish is such that you can fully experience the vibration of the body and neck just by playing one chord. Its overwhelming live sound is so comfortable that you can play it for hours without having to output it from an amplifier, and it has a quality that can only be experienced at a custom shop.

The pickups that reproduce that wonderful sound are all hand-wound pickups. The impression is that the amplifier outputs an acoustic atmosphere with richer harmonics than a normal machine-wound one. The installed models are calibrated by selecting models for each position. The neck position is equipped with a 57 Strat single coil with a calm and warm tone, the middle position is a Fat 50s single coil with a firm tone, and the bridge position is equipped with a Texas Special with a sense of attack and thickness in the middle. The middle pickup has a reverse winding reverse magnetic pole specification, so the hum canceling effect reduces noise at the mix position. The spec sheet says "S21 LTD", but I think this is a reordered item as it will be shipped in 2023.

As for the condition of this individual, it is impossible to tell whether it is a new scratch or not because it was originally a model with relic processing, but from the condition of the back of the neck and the fact that about 80% of the frets remain without any dents, it shows signs of use. We judge it to be in very good condition. Of course, there are no problems with the electrical system or performance, and you can use it as a unit. The finish, which looks like a stunning vintage translation into the modern era, the modern specifications, and the sound produced by the three types of pickups are nothing short of sublime. Don't miss out!
