Bronze


We are selling this great 19th century Grand Tour Bronze. This bronze of a seated figure on horse is after the famous Venetian bronze of Bartolomeo Colleoni by Andrea Del Verocchio that currently sits in Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo in Venice. It is one of the most important early Renaissance bronzes. This 19th century copy is probably Italian but could be French and is very finely modeled.

Condition: GOod condition with very light surface wear to the patina.
