The Games
This installment of the series includes a plethora of Namco titles; Rally-X, Xevious, Mappy, Motos, and the mother
of all classic arcade games, Ms. Pac-Man. Anyone following the PlayStation Namco Museum series will recognize
this package immediately as Namco Museum 3.
Each game is emulated perfectly, which is to be expected. Upon booting any of them up, you’ll even see the
system tests the original machines performed.
However, the nice thing about these compilations, well, the good ones anyway, is that you can map the buttons to
a controller any way you like. You can also adjust the difficulty, lives, etc.
I’d go into a lot of detail here about each game, but what would be the point? These are all classics. Anyone
who’s remotely interested in them probably knows more about them than I do. Personally I feel that Ms. Pac-Man
alone makes this product worthy of purchase.
One final thing I’d like to mention; the graphics and sound marks for this collection may seem low, since, by
today’s standards, they’re not even close to passable. However, remember that they are perfect emulators of the
originals, so they look authentic in every way.
Note: My compatibility CD does not alter the retail game or bypass copy protection. It allows the original media to
install and run correctly on any recent version of Windows.
