Superb English Georgian antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked with the lion passant mark, the George III head mark, the date letter for 1794 and the makers mark of Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan. They have been beautifully made and are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, engraved MCI to the bow. They measure approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) long and weigh 30 grams.
