Jeff Nelson, one of the founders of Hudson Valley Inlay, is the company’s principal designer. Nelson’s wood inlay work began as a hobby in San Francisco in 1979. Trained at the renowned San Francisco Art Institute, he has contributed greatly to the renaissance that marquetry is enjoying today. Jeff has been featured in numerous articles and books about marquetry, and has received many prestigious awards.
