Ai Khai is believed to be the child spirit of the age 9-10 years old. He was a disciple that pursued Luang Phu Thuad. When Luang Phu Thuad arrived at this place, he had found many treasures and many important religious places. He had asked Ai Khai to dwell here to watch over these treasures and the place.

It is about a young child of 9-10 years old, whom the villagers believe to be a sacred spirit living here from the Ayuddhaya Period. Some villagers say the boy did live there in the past and his spirit 'Ai Khai” could bring good luck, fortune and fulfil requested hopes and wishes


The amulet is made from lek lai and is about 40 years old


Lek Lai (Colorful or Rainbow Metal) 


Lek lai is one of the most exquisite elements in Southeast Asia being the rarest and most powerful material. It is a metallic element with a life of its own; it can alter its own state adapting to its environment.  It is said that Lek Lai emits a powerful energy which will protect who carries it from guns or sharp objects (such as knife or sword), and all other harmful weapons. Some people believe that Lek Lai is indestructible and makes one impenetrable.
