A Pair jacque adnet le tanneur stiffel leather and brass lamps MCM.

For sale today or a pair of awesome brass and leather table top lamps in the the Jacque Adnet or ale Tanneur style. These brass lamps are in great vintage condition with some scuffing and a scratch or two to the black leather which could be easily touched up with shoe polish, the brass is in excellent condition there are no dings or scratches while there is a bit of tarnish in an area or two. The shades are a strange paper square shade that has been detailed with a gold stripe, coming off in an area or two. There is one area of cracking on the paper. I am not sure if these were original to the lamps or if these were add-ons at a later time. I would assume that they are add-ons as the quality of the lampshade does not seem to match the quality of the lamp itself. Both appear to have been rewired at different times, the cords are the same color but the cord ends are different. They are in excellent working condition.

They stand 39.5” tall to top of finial and the base is 6.5” square.
