This item consists of a preface sheet and several booklets, each approximately 20”x16” when closed. They are contained in a black portfolio of vinyl, cloth and paper, secured by three cloth ties. The preface states that this is a collection of photographs of Singer’s works since 1977.

The collection was designed by Samina Quraeshi and the photographs were taken by David Stansbury. This is No. 359 out of a limited edition of 500 sets. The portfolio contains a total of over 50 images. They are titled as follows: The Ritual Series: Outdoor Installations; The Ritual Series: Indoor Sculpture;

Sangam Ritual Series, 1986 Tomol Ritual Series,

1987; The Ritual Series: Becton Dickinson, 1986: The Ritual Series: Drawings.

Printed in 1987 by Meriden-Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont, the photographs are beautiful and clearly capture Singer’s unique vision and style.

Overall, the portfolio is in excellent condition and the inner booklets themselves are very well preserved.

A few blemishes exist and are noted below as well as in the pictures.

1. Several small imperfections/indentations on the outer black vinyl.

2. Some crinkling/tearing to the decorative tracing paper separators.

3. A tiny mark that looks like rust from possibly a staple? (NOT visible on the inside print)

With only 500 copies made in the late 1980’s, these are very rare indeed. As such, setting pricing was a bit challenging. I based it on both auction results of Singer’s other works, and the unique rarity of this piece. That being said, I will consider all reasonable offers and will happily answer any questions.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
