VINTAGE GOLDEN BEAR TYPE B-3 2 TONE BOMBER JACKET SIZE 40 G-1 A-2 MA-1

Description

The popularity of B-3 can be seen from the fact that it continues to be released by each company this season. The Type B-3 was originally used by World War II bomber crews and was often referred to as the "bomber jacket". It was adopted by the United States Army Air Corps on May 8, 1934, and full-scale production began the following year.

The material is sheepskin, and the early model did not treat the surface of the leather, but from the late 1930s, the surface was finished with polyacrylic paint and lacquer, greatly improving durability. However, with the outbreak of war, it gave way to cotton jackets due to cost reduction.
