This really nice and rare HO gauge loco by Roco is 43592 a SNCB Class 62 diesel loco in green and yellow livery, it has running number 6274.

The Class 62 is a diesel locomotive of the Belgian State Railways. These diesels found use all over Belgium.

As part of the ongoing dieselisation of the Belgian railways in the 1950s and early 1960s, the SNCB/NMBS was a strong proponent of General Motors power.  Following its order Class 205 (later class 55) intended for work in the hilly east of the country, in 1961, came a further order for what would eventually total 136 machines built to a scaled-down design.  These were to be known as class 212, and were 1,400 hp 12-cylinder Bo-Bos intended for mixed traffic use across the entire country. 1961 saw six “prototypes” constructed. The 130 locos of the “production” fleet were to the latter design and received the numbers 212.104 to 212.233.

Under the 1971 renumbering scheme, class 212 became class 62. From 1980, the locos were repainted from green into the new corporate yellow livery.

Five (6321, 6325, 6391-6393) were sold to ACTS in the Netherlands in 1999. Four units (6225, 6227, 6313 and 6324) are outfitted with TBL2 signaling and a Scharfenberg coupler. This is for hauling broken-down or unpowered TGVs on line 2. They display the letters "TBL2" on the nose.

Some others have been transferred to Infrabel, who manage the Belgian rail infrastructure; they were repainted in blue and white.

The loco is in good condition as you can see in the pictures, it is fully tested and runs with working lights. It comes complete with its box. The box is in good if slightly shelf worn condition.

Overall this is a really nice scale locomotive and would look fantastic on a layout.

Do please have a look at my other listings, I typically have various HO and OO locos on offer as well as an extensive range of imported N gauge locos and other items.

Note: I do recommend all locos are cleaned & serviced, as they have some age to them even if the quality looks at the highest level (fairly standard advice for all locos!).
