Audio-Technica's headphones can basically be used directly, but adding amps randomly may be counterproductive. The A1000X is no exception. This is a headset that can be directly recommended. The sound of the A1000X under the PSP is balanced, refreshing and concentrated, rising and falling quickly, creating a large sound field. It is not like Sennheiser's headphones, which are rich in energy. Instead of filling the sound field, intricate lines run through it, forming an intertwined network, which is very distinctive. The direct push is very fast and light, and there will be no lag in rhythm. With an A1000X, you can get very high-quality sound through direct push. You will definitely say goodbye to ambiguous sounds. No matter how messy the electronic music is, the A1000X can also control the subtleties. The details and particles are clearly depicted. Although the three-dimensional effect and layering are not excellent, a high-definition screen is erected in front of the screen. The screen flashes the picture of musical notes flying like meteors. It is still very attractive. Compared with the past Of the A series, the A1000X has clearer lines and no weird closed reflections with holes in the middle, which is undoubtedly a big improvement. Its overall style is refreshing, transparent, clear, neutral and meticulous. For those who want to hear high-end HIFI sound with their Walkman, A1000X is a very good choice. Excellent sound from direct push is a major selling point of Audio-Technica headphones, which is a benefit brought by A1000X and is easy to use. Especially when performing the male and female chorus in the church, the A1000X can clearly count the heads. The rapid rewinding allows the full potential of the Walkman, and listening to Miku feels like you are singing in a 3D virtual world. Light and agile, delicate and transparent. The high frequencies are extremely elegant and pleasing to the ears.

"The A1000X sounds very refined compared to the average monitoring headphones, and again it has that sound that you only get with Audio Technica’s full size, closed back headphones (and some of their flagship IEMs like the CK-100 and CKW-1000). Being closed back, it still sounds more closed than say a Stax Lambda, but that extra refinement I get with the Audio Technica keeps it competitive even next to the Stax. Besides, the A1000X is far smoother, is still more linear, and has a wider frequency extension than any headphones in the Stax Lambda line up. And just for the record, the A1000X sounds more spacious and more airy than the W1000X.

A high end monitoring sound is probably an appropriate label for the A1000X. It’s not quite flagship level, but if you’ve been a fan of the Beyer DT880 line up and the AKG K701, you should definitely check out the A1000X. It doesn’t push out details in the music as extreme as the DT880, but on the other hand is not as dry as the Beyer and is smoother on the ears. It’s also not as spacious as the K701, but the sound image is more coherent and the timbre more accurate than the AKG, despite being closed-back. The A1000X is a specialized closed-back headphone, but Audio Technica has executed this one pretty well, and if you’ve always been fan of a linear and airy sound, then you should check out the A1000X."
