Includes 1 set of molds, 6 pigs of original GILBERT KASTER KIT LEAD, a ladle, 2 wooden handles, a formed metal spring clamp, a prying tool, 1 CAN of dried-up paint and a single paint brush. THE BOX IS NOT IDENTIFIED AS GILBERT. The box is in surprisingly good shape with all the interior cardboard present in FACTORY CONDITION. GILBERT purchased the Kaster Kit brand in the early 1930s from the inventor WILLIAM G. NEWTON or his asignees as early as 1933. The early sets which contained 2 sets of molds were marked PAT PENDING. By the time the patent was awarded the country was deep in the Great Depression. Gilbert changed quantities in his products seemingly at random, but mostly to make things cheaper while attempting to maintain appearances. This set is the same as previous sets marked No 1, until you open the box.
