Large badge measuring approximately 6.5 cm diameter featuring Superman wearing a red suit with a white cape. I’m not sure if this was an outfit he ever wore or if it was just a two colour print. Please note I am assuming the cape and background are meant to be white, but they’re definitely off-white which I suspect is discolouration due to age.

I recently came across a box of badges that has been stored away for a really long time. I believe this is probably from the late 1970s/1980s. There is some surface wear and a couple of tiny indents, plus quite a number of small dark spots on the white background. The back is quite tarnished. Please see the photographs.

ITEM CONDITION:

  • Please look at my description and photos. I describe any flaws or damage I have noticed to the best of my ability, although it is always possible I may miss something small.

  • Most of my items are used and have signs of use. Some items are unused but I often list them as used if they have been stored away for a long time as packaging may not be perfect. Some items which are technically new may also have flaws. I try to describe everything.

POSTAGE CHARGES:

  • I only charge you what the post office charges me for postage.

  • Whenever possible I re-use packaging or use envelopes that I’ve had stored away for a very long time. Even if I have had to buy it, I do not charge for packaging or handling.

  • If I have mistakenly overestimated the size or weight of a package (as some things are borderline), I will refund the difference in cost.

  • Postage charges for items under £20 are regular 2nd class post. Over £20, needs to be a signed for service and over £50 requires Special Delivery.

COMBINED POSTAGE:

  • I am happy to combine postage costs whenever possible. Ideally, please add all items to your shopping basket and request an invoice before paying. Please bear in mind that combined weights, dimensions and value may affect any savings that can be made – I will always use the most cost effect method.

  • If you pay separately rather than waiting for an invoice, I will still combine the postage and refund the difference in cost.

  • Combined postage discounts only apply where there is a postage cost. For example, if one item costs £3.49 to post and the other item is free post, the combined cost is £3.49, not £0!

DELIVERY TIMES:

  • Please note: there could be delays to postal services beyond my control.

  • I aim to post the next working day following payment. However, I am a private seller, so my eBay dispatch terms are within 3 working days, just in case I have unforeseen circumstances. I will always keep you informed as to when your item was posted.

  • Please be aware that once a package is handed to the post office it is no longer under my control but I always obtain proof of postage, so if your item does not arrive within a few days of me informing you that I have posted it, please contact me so that we can try to resolve the situation.

NON-UK BUYERS:

  • Items are dispatched using eBay's Global Shipping Programme. I do not post overseas other than by this method.

  • Additional postage/customs fees will be charged to you direct by eBay. I am not made aware of these extra costs and have no control over them.

  • Once I have posted your item and it reaches the Global Shipping Programme dispatch centre in the UK, the rest of the dispatch process is out of my control. 

  • Please note that certain items carry postal restrictions depending on the destination, and cannot be sent via the Global Shipping Programme.
