This is a retro style small multi-coloured lampshade featuring a flowery or floral design mainly in shades of red, pink and lilac/purple and probably dating from the mid to late twentieth century. The lampshade also has decorative white braiding to both edges and tassels to the bottom edge. Approximate overall dimensions are 28.5cm (11.25") by 14.5cm (9.5") across the bottom opening, 15.5cm (6") by 11.5cm (4.5") across the top opening and 25cm (9.75") in height. The diameter of the metal part that fits on to the lamp measures approximately 3cm (1.25") in total.
The lampshade is in good overall condition with no damage but does have some signs of cosmetic wear. There are a few marks or stains to both the inner and outer surfaces although nothing too obvious and is also some general wear and tarnishing to the metal parts.
