Gorgeous Vintage Ivory Jacquard Matelasse Queen / King Coverlet Bedspread. 97”x 112” Width.

Extremely heavy bedspread that stylistically places it between the 1950’s-1970’s. Unlabeled, so its origin is a bit of a mystery. Reminiscent of Italian workmanship. Fabric content seems to be a cotton blend with either rayon or possibly silk. Incredibly quality in craftsmanship on the binding, seams, and the Intricate paisley matelasse design. Recommend dry cleaning.

Photographed on a Queen size bed with a 25” drop length. This would also work on a king size bed beautifully as a coverlet. There are two seams that run lengthwise down the bedspread that frame the mattress platform. They are 53” apart.

Excellent Condition, (no rips marks, stains).
