Vintage 1950s very early 60s Blue Brocade Party Dress with matching Over Coat

This hand tailored vintage beauty features a blue satin subtle floral brocade fabric. a netting fabric under slip to give it that 50s poufy skirt. Slight boat neck style bodice. Would make a great Prom Dress, Evening out or for Wedding attire.

Because this dress is hand tailored, I’m unsure of the fabric, appears to be low sheen satiny acetate. Dress has back metal zipper. Overcoat has a hook and eye closure top neck missing the hook.

Both in very nice vintage condition, the dress has a spot on the lower back skirt(see photo). This has been packed away so cleaning will spruce it up nicely. No tears or holes.

Underarm to underarm across front 15"(30")

waist across front 11"(22")

length from top of shoulder to bottom 38"

Waist to bottom 23"

Overcoat-

underarm to underarm across front 16 1/2"(33")

shoulder seam to shoulder seam across 14"

length from back of neck to bottom 37"

The armhole openings of the coat are small, about 6" at the underarm and graduate smaller towards wrist
