A beautiful Chanel button of gold plated metal; the look is Renaissance
and designed by Mme. Gripoix for Chanel some years ago. The button has 6
little round gripoix stones, the center is raised with the double c
logo in the middle. It is also signed by Chanel on the reverse,
something they started doing later on in the 1990s. They
are in very good condition and were on a dress that was not worn.
Chanel buttons area great way to accessorize for just a 'little touch of
Chanel', without having to spend a fortune on their larger jewelry
pieces. Pin the button on a scarf or use as a top button for a blouse of
jacket to add just a little bit of luxury to your everyday wardrobe.
If you decide to buy two, they could be made into earrings, or used as earrings if you have pierced ears and safely use something in the back through the hole to keep them in place.
