Hello! Thank you for reading the description and checking out the photos! For your consideration is an Authentic YSL / Yves St Laurent Black Patent Leather / Black Suede Muse Two (sometimes called Muse II with Roman numerals) or even “Muse 2”. Condition is "Pre-owned,” but nearly flawless. I know this is an investment for you, or a gift for a loved one, so my description might feel wordy, but if I’m going to spend $500+ on something, I would want info. So here we go!
AUTHENTICITY: This is a 100% authentic Yves St. Laurent bag. I checked the serial number and it is a valid number. I’m not looking for a windfall, I’d just like to get my money back and make someone else happy at the same time!

WHY SELLING: I originally bought this bag for myself, but then COVID happened, and I just don’t really need it. It has literally been sitting quietly in a silk dust bag in my closet with my others. And I am vigilant about taking care of my stuff. That’s more than you probably wanted to know, but there it is!
IMPERFECTIONS? I gave this bag a thorough and detailed look-over both as a seller and as a buyer. In my opinion, if it came wrapped in tissue paper you might think it was brand spankin’ new (but let’s be clear— it’s pre-owned!)
GOLD-TONE HARDWARE: There is mild scratching in some places on the gold-tone hardware, probably from car keys, but I had to use a magnifying glass to even see it! Please remember everything looks horrible when you zoom in at 1080p :-)
PATENT LEATHER (Outer): The black, treated patent leather is an upgraded option for the Muse Two, and the treatment gives the bag a smooth gloss (but not cheap-looking) and very, very soft. It is extremely high-quality leather, and I do not smell any offensive odors. I mean, it’s YSL, the leather smells amazing and has that “brand new Italian leather” clean smell. I do not see any other damage. As you can see in the photos, the little plastic protectors for the bottom are still on! I do not see any holes/leather damage.
BLACK SUEDED LEATHER (Inner): This bag is so soft on the inside and is completely lined with dark black sueded leather (sometimes the photo flash make it look a little gray but it is black, baby!) The interior is wonderful and has the same level of quality as the outside. All adjustments work smoothly (closures, zippers, etc.) and the hardware is surprisingly not too heavy!
FIT: This bag was made three times for a reason. YSL knows what they’re doing in terms of fit. This bag is so popular because it is so VERSATILE. You can dress it up as a larger clutch or an easy shoulder bag— it really is the perfect size. You can wear it floppy with jeans, or carry it by hand for a more structured look.
COLOR: This bag is a rich, dark black inside and out. In my opinion it is a WAY better color than the brown (no offense). My college-age cousin has the brown and I bought this black one and I am glad I picked black. Another plus— this bag will travel with you as you age. It looks just as chic on my 67 year old aunt as it does on her 18 year old grand-daughter.
SIZE: Please pay attention to the size/ measurements, and to your own body geometry. This bag is not able to be worn as a cross-body and shame on you for even thinking about going there :-)
WHAT IS MISSING? This purse does NOT come with a YSL-branded dust bag and it does NOT come with the « YSL » information card thing that comes with it when brand new.
