BNSF Family Tree#6 - Burlington Northern Santa Fe This 56’ tank car with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was built for Burlington Northern and later patched for BNSF.

Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF.
