Rare early original vintage CDV (Carte de Visite) photograph of Admiral Dot, a formally dressed midget circus performer for the B.T. Barnum circus.

He is shown here shown here in his formal dress with top hat and cane. This was taken by famous NewYork photographer Abraham Bogardus.

Admiral Dot (1859 or 1863 – October 28, 1918), born Leopold S. Kahn, was a dwarf performer for P. T. Barnum.
This is a vintage photograph and not a copy or reproduction.

CDV measures 2 1/2 x 4 inches  and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.  Slight clip at bottom (1/16 inch).
