Found packed away at my MILs estate is this nursery planter from the 1950-60s era. It was popular to take a plant to the hospital in these baby bootie planters. This one is pink for a girl. It has yellow flowers with green leaves on the top of the booties. The surface is textured to resemble crochet or knit baby booties. There are no chip or cracks I can see. The planter is 2 1/2” tall and 4 1/2” across. There is no indication of manufacture, but easily found on the internet examples made by Nancy Pew Japan in pink and also made in blue. This is a great decor item for a baby shower.
