Build & Battle Boxes were updated beginning with this expansion—17 basic Energy cards were added to the previous 23-card Evolution pack, resulting in a ready-to-play 40-card deck. Decks included one of four specially stamped Prerelease cards for the expansion: Moltres, Lucario, Liepard, and Bibarel.
Boxes could also provide exclusive Non Holofoil versions of cards only available as Holofoil in Brilliant Stars booster packs: Torterra, Moltres, Infernape, Lucario, Bibarel, and Professor's Research.
